MISSION STATEMENT

Solidarity Orphanage’s mission is to work towards enriching and changing the lives of vulnerable babies and young children. We provide a safe, caring, loving, and comfortable environment to children who are abandoned and orphaned. we put children at the heart of everything we do.

OUR PURPOSE

Solidarity orphanage is a Christian organization whose purpose is directed in Proverb 19:17 states whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done. Through providing shelter, food, medical care, and education, our purpose is to inspire and support orphans and vulnerable children towards lives of hope, reaching their full potential as compassionate and productive members of society.

OUR VALUES

Our core values are those of humanity, compassion, involvement with the poor, the needy, the broken hearted and the homeless. Since the our creation in 2012 to present, we have adapted to recent challenges like HIV/ AIDS and the recent out break of COVID19. However the large immigration rate to the city of Bamenda influenced by the Anglophone revolution in Cameroon which lead to abuse and abandonment has also been of great influence.

We collaborate with other organisations with the spirit of humility and accountability to get the best outcomes for children. We build trust by conducting ourselves in a way that enables others to trust our work with confidence.
